At ART from SPIRIT, I offer a warm, mindful space where you can explore your inner world, express emotions, and build resilience through creative arts. Whether you’re navigating challenges, seeking personal growth, or simply wanting time to connect with your spirit, these sessions are tailored to you.

With a trauma-informed, client-centred, and strengths-based approach, I offer individual and group sessions, as well as creative workshops. These can be experienced in person here in Ballarat and surrounding areas, or online from wherever you are.

What is Art Therapy and How Does It Help?

Art therapy offers a way to express yourself and explore your feelings without needing words. Using art, music, and movement, you can connect with your inner self, release emotions, and discover new insights — all in a safe, non-judgmental space.

Services

Individual Sessions

Individual sessions are a gentle, one-on-one space to connect with yourself and work through whatever you are experiencing.
Together we may use a variety of creative modalities — including painting, pastels, clay, collage, music, guided drawing, or mindfulness — depending on what feels right for you.

You don’t need any art experience; I’ll guide you through a process that helps you tune into your inner wisdom and find what you need in the moment.

Sessions are available in-person in Ballarat and surrounds, or Worldwide via online.

Groups & Workshops

Group programs offer a supportive, creative space to explore connection, expression, and emotional wellbeing in a shared setting. These sessions can incorporate art-making, rhythm, movement, mindfulness, and reflection, and are tailored to the specific needs of the group—such as emotional regulation, self-esteem, social connection, communication, body awareness and grounding.

Programs are available for:

  • Children, teens, and adults

  • Schools and educational settings

  • Community organisations and support groups

  • Workplaces and wellbeing events

Workshops are offered throughout the year, both online and in person. These sessions typically focus on connecting inward—tuning into your inner voice and creative wisdom through mindfulness, art-making, and gentle exploration.

  • Art Therapy

    A creative process using materials like paint, pastels, clay, collage, and music to help you express feelings and connect with your inner self. Art becomes a tool for insight, healing, and growth — no artistic skill is needed, just a willingness to explore.
    This is your personal journey, at your own pace and in your own way.

  • Guided Drawing

    A mindful, movement-based process that invites connection with your inner body wisdom. This gentle, body-oriented approach supports regulation, awareness, and healing—working from the inside out, without needing to rely on words.

  • Clay Field

    A grounded, sensory process working with clay within a wooden frame—inviting you to follow the guidance of your hands and body instead of your thoughts. This gentle, embodied approach fosters healing, resilience, and self-discovery, especially for those experiencing trauma or a sense of being stuck.

  • Rhythm2Recovery, DRUMBEAT & Music Play

    A body-based approach using rhythm, drumming, and music to support connection, regulation, and emotional expression. Blending Rhythm2Recovery and DRUMBEAT with creative music play - it fosters self-awareness, resilience, and healing through sound and movement.

  • Embracing Your Inner Light

    A space to connect with your inner light and celebrate the unique parts of yourself.
    These sessions support you to reconnect with your core — the light within that holds your strengths, values, and sense of self. Through mindfulness, visualisation, and creative processes, you can explore and celebrate your unique qualities and gifts, building confidence in your true self.

  • Inner Voice Expression

    A gentle, creative space to hear and honour your inner truth.
    This session invites you to slow down and connect with the part of you that knows - through art-making, movement, writing, or symbol work. There is no pressure to explain or perform. It is about tuning in, expressing what wants to be seen or heard, and deepening trust in your own inner voice.

  • Intuitive Guidance from Within

    Access your inner wisdom through intuitive creative processes.
    Whether you are feeling stuck, unsure, or seeking clarity, you will be supported to connect with your intuition. Using visualisation, image-making, oracle cards, or body-based sensing, we tune into what your deeper self wants you to know — not by searching outside yourself - but remembering that you already hold them within.

  • Mindfulness & Meditation

    Calming, guided practices to help you slow down, be present, and connect with your inner peace.
    Mindfulness can be woven into art therapy sessions or offered as a stand-alone focus to support reduction in stress, ease anxiety, and deepen self-awareness. It can take the form of simple visualisations or be explored through creative methods — particularly helpful when stillness does not come easily.

Fees

My fees vary depending on the service, session length, and setting (individual, group, or program-based). The fees listed for private, agency and NDIS funded are for individual sessions about 55 - 60 minutes in length.

For groups and agency funded sessions and programs please get in touch to discuss your needs, and I’ll be happy to provide a quote or further details.

    • Individual session: $140 per session

    • A one-off $25 intake fee applies for new private clients at the first appointment.

    Reduced rates are available for clients experiencing financial hardship, subject to discussion and mutual agreement.

    Please note: Private session fees are thoughtfully set to balance quality care with accessibility and differ from NDIS and agency rates, which reflect additional administrative and service requirements.

    • Sessions are charged according to the current NDIS Price Guide (Capacity Building - Improved Daily Living Skills): $193.99 p/hr.

    • A service agreement will be set up before starting, and your plan details will be required prior to your first session.

    NDIS participants who are self- or plan-managed may be eligible to access services.

  • Fees are arranged directly with the agency, contact me for more information or a quote.

  • Group Programs differ in length and are tailored to individual needs. Contact me for more information or a quote.

  • Workshops differ in length and fees, when a workshop is scheduled the individual fee will be listed.
