Hello beautiful people! Today I am sharing with you a special artwork that was created for a special person and her new space she is creating. I wanted to share it with you and the message it holds. It was my first soft pastel on canvas artwork and turned out amazing!
This artwork called ‘Wholeness’, speaks of the need for acceptance of all parts of ourselves; Mind, Body, Soul and Spirit:

It can be so easy to be caught up in the busy-ness of our lives, it is so valuable to stop every now and then and just breathe, check-in with ourselves, look at what we are doing and why. Check that the decisions we are making are the right ones for us. To freely give ourselves our love and acceptance for who we are and where we are at in our lives.
This was very important for me recently when I was looking at taking on another project, I was reflecting on my interest in this other job, by checking-in with myself I realised that my interest was due mostly to financial motivations and that I needed to have confidence in the path I have already chosen, to stick with it, knowing I will reap the rewards in the future as well as the benefit of feeling fulfilled with the work I am doing now. I had to let go of where I thought I ‘should’ be and accept myself and situation, having faith in myself and the connection to all that I am.
Speaking of the work I am doing now; I would like to update you on what I have been up to and why I have been so quiet in terms of my blog posts!
I have been busy with my Art Therapy and Counselling studies, and have been very fortunate to be able to be delivering Art Therapy to some Primary Schools which I am loving!
I have continued working to get my amazing deck of ‘Self-Discovery Inspirational Cards’ published, which will be going to the printers for proofing soon! As well as preparing for my ‘Out of Darkness’ Exhibition in November.
