CONNECTING WITHIN: Open
Welcome to another extended Connecting Within with my Self-Discovery Inspirational Cards.
Let’s look at today’s card - ‘OPEN’. Offering a chance to take notice of that which you wish to remain hidden. ‘Hidden’ here could mean elements you have ignored or pushed down, those you have tried to shove aside and cover over, or it could be elements of yourself you have disregarded or not given attention to, whether on purpose of unconsciously.
In addressing or bringing your attention to these elements you are able to learn more about yourself, what makes you tick, why you may follow certain patterns in life. Sometimes it can be confronting and uneasy to look within here, after all they are likely hidden for a reason, but will you open up and allow yourself this gift of connecting to more parts of yourself, giving yourself a greater view of you?
In allowing yourself to ‘open’ up to yourself, giving yourself a look at these parts of you that you have tried to hide, you are giving yourself the precious gift of welcoming yourself in, for a better understanding of who you are. Another artwork ‘Friends' - love and accept all that you are’ comes to mind here, working together being gentle and accepting of yourself as you work through this process.
‘Open’ offers us the opportunity for another avenue of growth and healing. What you uncover may bring about a clearer understanding of yourself and potential for growth moving forward, or an opportunity to heal old wounds or unhealthy patterns. Shall we go on this journey together? Perhaps we can share in the courage to ‘open’ up to ourselves and discover these hidden elements!
