ART in FOCUS: Believe
I would like to wish everyone a wonderful love, smile and laughter filled New Year! Last year was exciting for me having started ART from SPIRIT and begun the journey of sharing my art! I look forward to the possibilities and opportunities for growth and joy in 2016.
I begin the year with my exhibition Healing from within at Unicorn Lane Gallery in Ballarat, which will run from 9 January – 11 February. There will be an opening event 5.00pm – 6.30pm at Unicorn Lane (off Sturt Street) on January 9. I look forward to seeing some of you there!
I also report that my time as the artist in residence at Bliss Yoga has come to an end. I thank Marian very much for the opportunity to share my art in her lovely studio over the past 6 months!
I continue to have many artworks on display at the lovely Cafe four2eight on Sturt Street in Ballarat, as well as some gift cards of my artworks for sale. Say hello to Leanne the wonderful owner when you drop by!
In the spirit of the New Year and people deciding on their New Year’s resolutions, I thought I would highlight my artwork ‘Believe’ today. ‘Believe’ is currently on display at Cafe four2eight and is available for sale.

Believe in your potential
Sharing my wisdom:
Believe in yourself. Believe in your potential for greatness. Believe in your capacity to learn and grow. Believe in your ability to create your dreams.
Making New Year’s resolutions, or charting out your goals and dreams is a wonderful step to maintain focus and work towards your happiness. Sometimes you may be overwhelmed about how you are going to get there, going to make these dreams a reality.
Always trust and believe in yourself. If these goals and dreams are something you have thought of, something you want to achieve, you have it within you to do so!
Sometimes patience and small steps are going to be required. Other times a leap of faith and big changes may be necessary. No matter what it is trust that you have the capacity to achieve your goals and dreams.
I personally have experienced the power of believing in myself especially in the past year. When discussing what I had accomplished in the past 6 months or so, a comment was made to me, that I have ‘really made things happen’. I responded with the simple fact, that I attribute my accomplishments to belief in myself and taking the steps to follow my dreams.
Looking back, I guess some of it did take courage, I took a leap of faith in myself. I stayed true to what felt right for me, I was determined that I can indeed manifest my aspirations.
I still have much to accomplish to achieve my vision. I am certainly learning patience and the value of one step at time! However, I am confident I am on my path, confident that provided I continue to have strong belief in myself that anything is possible!
With all the possibilities and new beginnings the New Year brings, remember to believe in yourself, believe that you are capable of fulfilling your dreams.
